Rice, Beans and so much more.

Though the most common staple of Cuban food is black beans and rice there is so much more than just beans.  It is a common misconception that Cuban food resembles Mexican fare, but it doesn't.  Cuban food is full of spice but not heat.  The flavors most common in Cuban food are garlic, lime, cumin, onions, bell peppers and others.  Nothing scary.

Cuban Food with a Hawaiian twist.

The Cuban Fusion movement is a big hit on the mainland and we want to bring it to Hawaii. We are constantly experimenting with new flavors. New and interesting ways to combine the local palate with the food we grew-up with.  Our latest is the Camaguey Spring Roll-a pineapple and avocado salad wrapped in rice paper. A salad you can eat with your hands.  Check out our sample dinner menus for more examples of Cuban Fusion.
